Unlocking the software |
If you have not entered a valid registration key yet, TinkerTool System will run in demonstration mode only: Only a few features, e.g. setting the login and startup language will work. When you select a locked function only available in the full version, a reminder window will appear. You can unlock the software and remove the reminder window by purchasing a registration key.
Select the menu item Purchase registration key in the menu Help. TinkerTool System will show detailed instructions that can be printed. A key can be ordered worldwide by Internet, phone, fax or postal mail.
Select the menu item TinkerTool System > Unlock TinkerTool System. In the registration window, press the button Add key and enter registration name and key exactly as you have received them. The easiest way to do this is to use Edit > Copy and Paste to transfer the entries to the fields. You also need to select whether the registration should be valid for your personal user account only or for all users of this computer. After pressing the button Save the new registration status will be displayed. If everything was entered correctly, the software will be unlocked and the window can be closed.
If there was an error in the registration data, a message will be displayed. In this case verify the information you have entered.
