PrefEditTasks: Unlocking the Application

If you like to use PrefEdit without restrictions you'll have to purchase a registration code which will be sent to you by e-mail. Perform the following steps to unlock the application using the registration code:

  1. Ensure that you have logged in to Mac OS X as an administrator.
  2. Select the menu item PrefEdit > Unlock PrefEdit….
  3. Press the button Enter registration.
  4. Transfer the code Registration Name you have received by e-mail into the field Registration Name. Make sure not to transfer any additional blank characters or empty lines into the field. If you enter the name manually, also pay attention that the name is case-sensitive.
  5. Transfer the code Registration Key you have received into the field Registration Key.
  6. Use the buttons at Activate for to select whether the unlock operation should be valid for your personal user account only or for all users of this computer.
  7. Press the button Save.

If both parts of the code have been entered correctly, your license will be displayed in the window MBS Product Registration. You can close this window afterwards.
